Certificates and Concentration
Within the Master of Divinity curriculum the Divinity School offers a concentration in Christian Education and 3 separate certificates.
Certificate in Anglican Studies — this certificate is designed to serve the academic and formational requirements of those preparing for ministry – ordained and lay – in the Episcopal Church and other member churches of the Anglican Communion.
Certificate in Baptist Studies — this certificate is designed to prepare those desiring to serve in a Baptist setting.
Certificate in Gender, Theology, and Ministry — the goal of this certificate program is to equip students to address the way gender has shaped agency within the church, the function of gender in the theological thinking of the church, and contemporary issues of ministry.
Concentration in Christian Education — this concentration benefits persons seeking to practice as church educators, teachers, college chaplains, youth workers, or health care workers.
