Christian ministry in the United States faces challenges that extend far beyond the current economic crisis. Truly to serve the church in this time of change, ministry must claim and re-claim the transformative power of the Gospel, especially through the direction of the Holy Spirit. In this endeavor we have much to learn from our young people as well as from developments in the global church.

• Os Guinness, author and cofounder, The Trinity Forum
• Kenda Creasy Dean, associate professor of youth, church and culture, and director, Tennent School of Christian Education, Princeton Theological Seminary
• Tyrone Gordon, pastor, St. Luke “Community” UMC in Dallas, Texas

Together, we will examine opportunities for living into Christ’s new creation by learning from the mighty works of the Spirit in the global church.
