Continuing Education Credit

The Center for Continuing Education offers continuing education units (CEU) for programs based on the number of hours of study. Participants are eligible for CEU credit if they attend the entirety of their enrolled programs. Programs that receive other forms of credit, such as Course of Study, are not eligible for CEU awards.

CEU credit is awarded according to the following formula: 1 hour of study earns 0.10 CEU. A program with 10 hours of instruction would therefore make a participant eligible for 1.0 CEU. Awards are made only in tenths of CEU.

Participants are not eligible for retro-active credit for events that did not initially offer CEU. Participants may request CEU credit within one year of program conclusion. Certificates indicating awards will be provided to participants upon request.

Duke University is a member of the University Continuing Education Association.
