Duke Divinity School will host a panel discussion “Women Clergy: Are There Cracks in the Stained Glass Ceiling?”
Panelists are Duke Divinity School faculty members Mark Chaves, professor of sociology, religion and divinity, and Jackson Carroll, Williams professor emeritus of religion and society; Rev. Denise Thorpe, Duke Law School graduate and Presbyterian pastor; and Rev. Dr. Daphne Wiggins, associate minister and coordinator of congregational ministries at Union Baptist Church, adjunct professor at Shaw Divinity School, and author of “Righteous Content: Black Women's Perspectives of Church and Faith.”
