The Office of Black Church Studies aids in the theological formation of seminarians by supporting the work of the faculty, especially faculty members teaching and administrating the courses in black church studies, by providing counsel and advice to black seminarians and prospective students in undergraduate schools, and by facilitating educational opportunities through special programming and lecture series, as well as domestic and international field educational settings.
