Durham Pilgrimage of Pain & Hope: January 12-14, 2007
Students will witness the transforming love of Christ through the lives of local neighbors. The pilgrimage will take students on a journey across the social, racial and economic barriers that divide Duke University from the larger, sustaining Durham community. Participants will discover the bond of faith they share with the stranger next door.
First year-participants will receive Spiritual Formation Retreat Credit for participation in this pilgrimage.
