Katherine Smith
Director
(919) 613-532

Katherine Smith is a native of Music City, U.S.A. After earning a degree in English at Princeton University, Katherine served for three years with a non-profit civic leadership organization affiliated with the university where she helped college students to discern their calling. She then discovered her own call and made her way to Duke Divinity School, where she completed a Masters of Divinity.

Katherine joined the staff of the Duke Youth Academy in May 2007. When she’s not running, drinking milkshakes, or traveling, Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband, Bart, whom she met while working for Duke Athletics (go Blue Devils!) Katherine and Bart live in Durham and attend church in Raleigh, NC, where Katherine is pursuing ordination in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
