Day 13 - DYA Wrap Up

At a Glance
We tearfully and cheerfully bid adieu to one another today after breakfast and morning prayer. We pray that the lectures, worship services, service opportunities, hospitality meals, arts village sessions and friendships we’ve participated in and experienced will continue to shape our journeys. Our hope is that every member of our community has loved and has been loved, has served and has been served, and that we will continue to live into our baptismal covenant with God. This covenant is a continuation and fulfillment of all previous biblical covenants, beginning with God’s covenantal relationship with creation. We have faith that the practices learned here will be carried to the congregations from which we came so that the life of churches everywhere will feel the movement of the Holy Spirit.
What’s ahead...
We hope to see everyone back in Durham in February for the Third Annual DYA Reunion!
