Office of Field Education: Partner in the Teaching Communities Program

Office of Black Church Studies: The Office of Black Church Studies is a conduit for the engagement of the Divinity School with the Afro-Christian experience. The OBCS and its affiliates seek to illuminate the several dimensions of these experiences, to investigate and expose the contributions which the global Black Church has made and can make to the Black Community, American culture, and the world. Through its Lecture Series Program, Pilgrimage of Pain and Hope Programs and various other initiatives, the OBCS invites the Divinity School community to actualize its potential for service to the Church through its special concerns for ministry and mission to people of color in both the church and the world.
