Creating an Oasis of Peace: Forgiveness, Advocacy & Community
Saturday, November 14

This intensive, one-day workshop at Duke Divinity School with Angelina Atyam and Bishop Paride Taban prepares leaders for the work of peacemaking and forgiveness in a broken world. The workshop will include stories from our keynote speakers, small group conversations, interaction with local community leaders who work in the field of advocacy and peacemaking, and worship that incorporates African musical and prayer styles.

This workshop is designed for pastors, peace activists, Duke students, and lay members with a passion for advocacy and peacemaking in Africa and in their own communities. Lunch will be provided.
