Bethesda UMC, SE Durham, is seeking a part-time Director of Music Ministry. Duties include music planning, Wednesday night choir and handbell (three octave) practice, worship service music and utilizing musical skills of the congregation. Five hours a week plus planning time is needed: salary will be determined on the basis of expertise and experience. Certainly music study background (keyboard and other instrumental skill helpful) and experience are necessary, but we are open to someone with less experience but more energy for liturgical worship music. Though a small church, Bethesda has an exceptional choir and handbell program, with an enthusiastic and supportive congregation. Send resume and/or contact for more information.
