Mt. Carmel is seeking a full-time pastor, ordained minister, called by God to lead God's people who are in ministry for Jesus Christ. It is known nationally for its leadership & missions in the community. Mount Carmel has approximately 350 persons on its membership role & averages 200 in worship attendance. There are approximately 22 active ministries that provide services, support, fellowship, & outreach to many in the church, community, state, as well as nationally. The church owns & operates an 18,000 foot Family Life Center & a 100-unit low income housing complex. Candidate must possess a MDIV degree or equivalent, & 3 years experience as a Baptist licensed pastor, as well as meet qualifications outlined in 1 Tim. 3:1-7. Interested parties must submit: resume, biographical sketch, proof of schooling, 3 reference letters, DVD of sermon, & 2-page essay on The Role of the African American Church in the Community in the 21st Century.
