The primary expectations of this position are: A vital and vibrant Sunday church school ministry with children, kindergarten through 6th grade. A quality, weekday ministry with children in our church and in our community, 1st through 6th grade (WOW, JAM, ROCK). Compelling Christian education and fellowship opportunities for the parents of our children (fellowship groups, Sunday School classes, etc). An engaging summer Christian education program for children, 1st grade through 6th grade (includes and is not exclusive to VBS). A nurturing worship childcare program with children, infant to five years old. A challenging and affirming confirmation class with children entering the 6th grade. A child- friendly environment where children can feel included in the life of the congregation and have opportunities to share and grow their faith.
